Art In Season is a magazine spread for Wake Tech Community College highlighting the talents of visual and literary art students. The primary audience is fellow students, mainly those who are artistically inclined.
PROCESS
The Art in Season magazine focuses heavily on its artwork, thus a lot of the design is centered on its contents rather than all that surrounds it. The typography was not meant to distract from the content, rather to enhance it.
The orange-pink tones were decided as a contrast to the covers, which are primarily blue.
